Jennie's Tag for December

Ok let's see if I remember what I used in this tag. LOL You will need picket fence crackle paint or a light color like a blue, antique linen, milled lavender, or you can use your pearl dabber to paint your tree and use rock candy crackle paint.

You will also need a pearl or white dabber.

I used a blue distressed ink and went over it with a pearl mister. You will need a snowflake stamp and a french script stamp. Also you will need a black ink pad.

November's Tag

This month we are doing things a little different for my tag. I hope that you guys will be nice to one another and this will go smoothly :) We will be playing with Color Wash and Claudine Hellmuth's new line of stamps. I will tell you that you will need to put your name down for both the stamps and the Color Wash if you want them because they are not in stock yet. I would like for you to bring to class the following...

-your stash of distress ink pads and a blending tool

-non stick craft mat

-your stash of acrylic daubbers

-adhesive (red liner tape is recommended)

-scissors

-acrylic block for mounting clear stamps

this might get messy (as usual), and you'll be getting up but I think you'll have fun with it.

My box

Here is my curio cabinet I made with the Tim Boxes. How do you like?!?! It will be at the store for all to see on Friday. Better grab your boxes before they are gone. Carrie and I are going to do a class with these boxes but not this particular one. It will be on the calendar soon.

You wanted Popcorn

You wanted popcorn and you got it. I had fun making this tag. As soon as I saw this stamp set I thought of liquid applique. Old product brought back. I had some people laugh at me for getting soooo excited but look...LOL

You are going to need: craft mat, black ink, rusty hinge or wild honey or some orange color, vintage photo, black soot, fired brick red, glossy accents, liquid applique white, heat gun.

I already have my christmas tag made. Can't peak yet.

Remember to bring your craft mat and black archival ink pad. As far as distressed ink: I used aged mahogany and weathered wood and old paper along with a reinker color (vintage photo) or whatever color palate you want. you will need 3 distressed ink colors and a reinker color. Mini mister to mist tag. Border stamp and background stamps. I also used a clock stamp and stamp set 100th collection tim stamp set. Green (peeled paint) distressed ink pad. Black soot, glossy accents or zipdry. If you have a small spinner bring that. I also used his postcard stamp set. Rock candy crackle. i believe that is it for mine. can't wait to see you Sunday.

Perfect Pearls

Our class in August (8th) we are using perfect pearls. We are not sure what colors we are using yet but just need to know if anyone wants us to order them some so we will have it on hand when class time comes. Carrie ordered silver, gold, bronze, kiwi, turquoise, purple and a few other colors. The order will be sent off soon and need to know how many to order. Please let us know.

Ok, some of you know that I was really struggling with this month's tag. I could not figure out how we were all going to be able to heat emboss in class. I just couldn't rap my head around 28 people at a time using a heat tool. No fear! I have figured out a project for us to do using UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel) AND I really love the tag! This month, I have just about all of the supplies for you but it would be helpful to bring the following items if you have them...

I kind of feel like Tim with all these skulls and hearts. Doesn't it look like lots of fun. Well we are going to have fun on sundsay.

Here are the tags that you will be doing if you are doing a heart or skull. I have you down for one or the other. I believe I have 19 hearts and 23 skulls. Our class keeps growing and Carrie and I are so happy that you attend our classes.

March 7th Jennies tags

OK, here we are again. I've been making skulls and hearts. For those of you who wanted a skull you need to bring your alcohol mixative if you have any. I will have mine with me. You will need your craft mat, purple distressed ink, vintage photo ink and orange distressed ink. Bring your distresser and blending tool. As for the heart, you need to bring your craft mat, fired brick distressed ink, vintage photo ink, and walnut ink. Bring your distresser and blending tool. I'm not sure what Carrie has up her sleave but it will be good as always. My tags are up at the store for you to see. C-Ya on Sunday.

I also don't have a picture of mine as it is at the store. Sorry but as Carrie said we will be doing things with canvas. For my tag your canvas will already be printed so don't worry about that. We will need a swirl stamp, fired brick red ink, antique linen ink, and our tim #'s haven't arrived so if you have anything to put the 14 on or I will have the little metal #'s to replace it but can't do the technique on them like I wanted to. Like Jennie said, we will be using alcohol inks this month. Bring them if you have them. Here's some other supplies to bring. We will be working with metal for my tag. If you have the metal and tools for the repose work bring them, otherwise you can purchase a piece for your tag for $1.00. We are also using gold foil wings. If you don't have those, you can purchase a set for $ .40. All together you are looking at $1.40 supply fee if you don't have metal or wings.

January 10th class

Hi guys, we are going to be playing with alcohol inks several different ways so bring all your alcohol inks and blending tool with felt, and blending solution. We will be having lots of fun playing with alcohol inks on glossy paper and metal. Oh and if you have an air bottle that you use to blow air on your computer bring that. Sounds like fun huh. Also bring a few of your brown inks, and archival ink. We will be adding more to the list but this will start you off.
