Sorry for the delay guys!

Hey there! Here is my tag for December with the supply list. The items on the list are highly recommended, but not required. Bring them if you have them, if not you can borrow mine. I will also have the silver Memory Frames available individually for sale. They should be the same price as Jennie's.

Dec Tags

Hi all my Tim Groupies

Have you been following his 12 days of Christmas Tags? I sure have. I will have my samples hopefully done for you on Sunday.

Anyways, here is a list of my stuff for my tag. I will be selling individual frames and corners. The frames are $1.69 and the corners are .69. You will need your craft mat (always) blending tool, heat gun, versamark pad, clear embossing powder, antique linen, fired brick red, peeled paint inks, letter to santa script stamp or a background stamp, festive sound light post or whatever you want to put on your tag and archival black ink. If you have your filmstrip ribbon bring a piece (we have a few to buy here) a mini paper clip, grunge holly leave, and a trinket pen. Oh bring redline tape to assemble your house top. you will need to bring a bell or we have two different types here for .19 or .29. I will have the flower for you unless you want to put your own flower on it. Carrie is going to put up a picture of this tag along with hers tonight. I will see you all soon.

Film Strips are IN!

We FINALLY got a shipment of Film Strips in. We have aobut 20 of them on hold for those who put their name on the list in class. We also have some Stickles Rock Candy! Drop by and see us this weekend while you are out doing Christmas shopping.

Jennie's tag for December is AWESOME! My tag will be at the store in about a week. Rememer, our December tags will both be featuring the memory frames and memory capsules.

Hi my Totally Tim People

I hope you all enjoyed our class and learned lots. I have heard that Tim has discontinued him Mini Holiday Stamp set. I know that Laurie Prieto and Pat Espinosa want one each. I have two more in my hot little hands. The first two to let me know they want to buy them I will hold them for you. I wanted to give you guys first dibs on them. Let me know.

My tag

Here is the supply list for my tag. Carrie is so good, she has a picture of hers. I wanted to get the supply list up and didnt have my camera with me so i don't have a picture. Anyways, here we go:

Holiday Grungeboard (the small reindeer, 2 snowflakes, holly leaves and the word joy) you will need a snowflake stamp, white daubber, perfect pearls pearl, distressed stickles: fired brick red, rock candy stickles, green peeled paint, blue broken china. You will need a glue stick. Distressed ink: fired brick red, peeled paint, old paper, and vintage photo. We are looking forward to all of you coming. As you all know, if you don't have these items we have them at the store or we will let you use ours.

Carrie's November Tag

Hey there! Here is my tag for November with the supply list. There are things that you MUST have in order to make a tag like the one below and then there are things that you should bring if you have them. If not, you can borrow mine.

MUST HAVE items:

Swirl Mask (you don't absolutely HAVE to have this but it would be a lot faster if you do!)

Ink Applicator Tool

Holiday Grungeboard (the same pack that we used for the Halloween Tag, you'll also need it for Jennie's tag too!)

Metal Numbers (you could use grungeboard numbers for a slightly different look)

Her name is Carrie Avery. She use to work/own Stamp Antonio. I am so excited to be working beside her. She will be doing one tag and I will be doing the other.

Christmas in July

Hey bloggers!!!!

Well, today was our 1st Christmas in July Totally Tim Class. Wow!!!! We had loads of fun, and we all worked fast and furious to get the tags done. It was like a 6 hours aerobic workout! Everyone's tags turned out terrific!! Here's some pics of the first tag of the day. I missed a few people...sorry. After that, I didn't get a chance to take anymore pics...sorry about that.

Also, there were a few announcements made at class today. So for a few of the regulars that weren't able to make it, here they are.

Jennie Update....She had her surgery last Tuesday, she's now home and recuperating. She's doing great!

August Totally Tim...There will not be an August class, the classes will resume in September.

Debbie...Unfortunately, I will no longer be teaching at Scrapbook 911. I will be relocating to PA by the end of July.

I truly enjoyed having been able to teach the classes and share will everyone, and I will miss all of you. I would love to see your awesome creations, please feel free to email me any pics of your work. My email is dkavinsky@gmail.com.

Oops my surgery has changed

Oops my surgery has changed. Gaelynn will be taking my place. You will be in good hands. She has taken lots of Tim Holtz classes taught by him. She will be teaching my tags and Debbie will be teaching hers. Have a good time and I want to see what you do when I get back. I have several door prizes that Gaelynn will be giving out. Hey my Tim groupies...I will have a list complied this weekend (hopefully) of what all there is on each tag. I probably won't be here to teach due to surgery. My insurance approved it so I'm just waiting for a phone call with the appt date. I'm excited but yet scared. Anyways, class will go on. I am getting Gaelynn to teach my tags for me. She is great and I know you will like her. Debbie will be doing her 3 tags also. I will leave you in great hands. I just wanted to update my friends and let them know what is going on. I will post your list soon.

Class on Sunday

We are having our class on Sunday. Guess you need to know what to bring huh? OK, I will fill you in. My tag you will need any color of distressed ink. You will need a stamp with words. The words I used has journey in it. you will need a key, embossing powder (untrafine) clear, and a heat gun.

On Debbies tag I believe what you need is embossing powder, heat gun, dark colored paint dauber. (Debbie used a dark brown one) and she used a harliquin stamp, and a philosophy tag or token.

Can't wait to to play with you at the scrapbook store on Sunday.

June Tag Class

Hey Bloggers!! Yep it's that time again....Totally Tim Tag Class! Here we go...I'll be doing this blue one. I used the large harlequin stamp, embossing ink, clear embossing powder, heat dryer, denim blue dabber paint, distressing tool, distress inks, glossy accents, brads, and other embellies. Also, I made the side strip with an old fashioned Dymo label maker. If you have one, PLEASE please bring it to class.

Jennie will be making this tag. She used distress inks, a saying stamp, and some embellies. We'll have the fragments for sale individually if you don't have any. Class is this Sunday, June 14th 3:30pm - 6:30 pm.

I just have to tell all of you.....I had a TIM sighting!!! Yep, it was him in the flesh! I was in Mesa, AZ and went to a scrapbook store there. He was teaching one of his classes. I didn't get to talk to him. I was so excited I had to call Mimi & Michelle and tell them.! I was talking to a few of the ladies that took his class, and they showed me what they made. It was the grunge paper quilt. It looks very cool! So, now I'm even more excited about going to Dallas at the end of June to take 3 classes of his. So, you know what that means.....lots of really cool classes will be coming up!!!

We can't wait to see everyone on Sunday! If you have any questions, either call the store or email one of us. - Jennie is working on Friday 9am -2pm.

May Totally Tim tag class

Its that time again. I know some of you can't wait. I can't wait either. I love playing with Tim's products and Rangers. Debbie said that she used several different colors of ink so take your pick of what you want to bring for that tag. She also used a stamp set that has flowers and birds. Bring your mini mister with water for this tag. You can use ours or it is a technique that you can use any of your stamp sets.

As for my tag, you will need to bring fragments. I will have some individual ones for sale if you don't. You will need to bring several different alcohol inks. Again your choice. It is the technique you will be learning. You need archival black ink for it to work. Glossy accents, crystal laquor, or diamond glaze to glue your fragments. Bring tea die or old paper distressed ink. As far as the stamp set again it is your choice because it is the technique that you will be learning. I would recommend bringing some of the smaller stamps to get the real picture. Again you can use what we have.

Totally Tim Class

Here is the step by step tag that I made last month.

I took the stamp and daubed with the white dauber onto the stamp.

Stamped image and let dry. Took my mini misters and misted on top of image.

Then I took a saying and stamped right over the paint and mist with black archival ink. Black archival ink will not run when your tag is wet.

Then I took my black archival ink and stamped my butterfly image on top of the tag.

Then with a distresser, distress the edges of your tag. Take your cut n dry foam or your blending tool and walnut ink and ink the edges where you distressed the tag and your are done.

Have you checked Tim's blog lately?? He made some announcements on it yesterday. Go check it out ASAP. And, he's doing giveaways for some of his new products this week. You just have to comment once a day. Who doesn't just love blog candy, especially Tim blog candy???

Yesterday we had a great class. We all learned some new techniques - relief embossing, using mini misters, etc. Everyone's tag looked great. It's amazing to see how they all turn out so differently, with each person's unique spin on it. Lots of fun!

We'll be posting the tags for the next class in the next few days. I'm not sure how to add pictures yet to the blog, so Jennie will do it. But she's still under the weather. Don't forget, if you need to order anything for the next class let us know so we can get it in for you.

One more thing...

For the class this Sunday....in addition to the heat gun, also bring your craft iron. We'll need it to do one of the tags. Hopefully we'll have a few of them so there's not too much wait time. Are aprons are here and guess what?! He has personalized each and everyone of them. I will bring it to class on Sunday. Well you say what do I need to bring? Everything. No just kidding. Ofcourse each class you will need to bring your craft sheet. We will be using a white dauber, black archival ink, embossing powder either white or clear with an embossing pad or versamark pad, natures wonders stamp set, harlequin stamp, the bingo stamp set, and a heat gun if you have one. I have made your mini misters if you asked me to make you some and if you didn't bring your mini misters. We will be getting dirty. Yah for the aprons. We will see you on Sunday. If I forgot something Debbie please add it.

Hi Ladies, our aprons are on their way. I just got an email from Tim and he just got in from his trip to Europe and received our money. He has signed and mailed our aprons out so they should be here in time for our class coming up.

New Tag

Hi All....

I worked on my next tag for April. If you are in the store look at the tags we are making for March and on the back is mine for April. Debbie is working on hers for April but is waiting for some things to come in. I am making our name tags. They are turning out cute. When they are done I will show you a picture.

Tim's aprons

Hi all...

Tim has said that we could order his aprons and he will sign them for us. How cool is that. I know some of you have said that you want one and I have some of your money. If you want an apron let me know and I will need prepayment for these before he will send them to me. I have Rhonda's and Debbie's money. I know that Kwani, Norma, and Pat want one also. If I haven't listed your name and you want one let me know and I can give you my address to send them money to so I can write one check to Tim. Later tonight I will update the blog so stay tuned. Our first Totally Tim Class

I hope you all had fun at our first Totally Tim class. Debbie and I want to thank you for coming. We love to play with all of Tim's and Rangers products.
